What is the UNI 150 puzzle giveaway?

  • During Live Purple Give Gold, donors who make qualifying gifts will receive a limited‑edition UNI 150 commemorative puzzle as a thank you for supporting UNI.

How do I qualify for the puzzle?

  • Any single gift of $150 or more during the day qualifies a donor for one puzzle.

Do multiple gifts count toward the $150 minimum?

  • No, one transaction of $150 or more is required to qualify for the puzzle.

How many puzzles can I receive?

  • Each donor is eligible for one puzzle, even if they make multiple qualifying gifts, unless otherwise stated by the UNI Foundation.

What if my partner gives $150 as well? Will we both receive puzzles?

  • Unique email addresses that make a gift transaction of $150 or greater during Live Purple Give Gold will be eligible to receive a puzzle.  So if you and your partner use different email addresses, each of you will receive a puzzle.

When will I receive my puzzle?

  • Puzzles will be mailed 6-8 weeks after Live Purple Give Gold.

Can I pick up my puzzle instead of having it mailed?

  • Only on-campus supporters will be eligible for drop-off/pick-up.  Otherwise, all other donors will receive their puzzle via the mail.

Does giving to any fund count toward earning the puzzle?

  • Yes! All funds qualify. Any area of campus you choose to support counts toward the $150 minimum.

Do employer‑matched gifts count toward puzzle eligibility?

  • Only the portion you personally give counts toward the $150 threshold. Employer match dollars do not apply toward incentive eligibility.

Will puzzles run out?

  • Puzzle quantities are limited to the first 1,000 qualifying donors. They will be distributed while supplies last, based on the order in which qualifying gifts are received.

I gave early. Does that count?

  • If your early gift is processed through the Live Purple Give Gold campaign and attributed to the event, it will count toward puzzle eligibility.

Will this impact the amount I can deduct from my taxes?

  • Yes, as an incentive, we’ll deduct $10 from your charitable contribution.

What if I give $150 and don’t want the puzzle?

  • While filling out the giving information, you will have the option to decline the puzzle, which will make your full gift amount tax-deductible.
