Annual Giving

Every gift to the University of Northern Iowa makes a difference for our students. Each year, these gifts allow students, faculty, programs and the university to achieve incredible success and gain experience and knowledge that propels them forward. You can help by supporting one of the areas below. Giving $1,000 or more annually to these funds gives you an opportunity to become a member of the Campanile Society.

Annual Fund

Every gift makes a difference at the University of Northern Iowa. Giving any amount to the UNI Annual Fund, UNI’s unrestricted fund, helps support the most immediate needs of the university.

The UNI Annual Fund is essential to advancing the university’s educational mission, as gifts are utilized in countless ways to build and sustain the experience of students at UNI.  You are invited to make a difference at the University of Northern Iowa by giving to the UNI Annual Fund.

You can contribute to the UNI Annual Fund in the following ways:

  • By making a gift online
  • By responding to a direct mail appeal
  • By responding to a UNI Panther Call Center phone call from a student
  • By making a matching gift
  • By establishing an electronic funds transfer
  • By establishing a payroll deduction (UNI faculty and staff only)

Deans' Funds for Excellence

Students in UNI's four colleges — the College of Business Administration, College of Education, College of Humanities, Arts & Sciences and the College of Social & Behavioral Sciences — engage in undergraduate research, internships and study abroad. They travel to conferences and earn professional certifications. Faculty expand their knowledge and skills through professional development.

None of this happens without the support of the Deans' Funds for Excellence. Your support of these funds give each college the ability to respond to changing industry needs and provide opportunities that set a UNI education apart.

Give to support work happening in each college.

General Scholarship Fund

Scholarships are vital in making a UNI education accessible.
